I’m a 22-year-old student at the University of Texas at Austin pursuing a B.A. in Theatre and Dance with a concentration in Costume Design and a minor in Business. My love for design began with my grandmother, an artist who taught me early on that creativity is a way of seeing the world with curiosity, empathy, and imagination. Watching her create inspired me to start designing as a way to tell stories, express identity, and bring characters to life through clothing.

This summer, I’m honored to take part in the UTNY preprofessional program, which gives me the opportunity to live and learn in New York City. Through coursework, internships, and professional networking, I’ll be deepening both my artistic and industry skills. As a dedicated student, designer, and creative thinker, I’m excited to explore everything NYC has to offer while continuing to grow toward my professional goals. I truly look forward to connecting with others during this meaningful and transformative experience.
