My Business Minor!

UT-Austin-logo.png

Alongside my training in costume design and storytelling, I chose to pursue a Business Minor through the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin, one of the top public business schools in the country. My interest in business management grew naturally out of working in collaborative, fast-paced creative environments where leadership, budgeting, organization, and communication are just as essential as artistic vision. I wanted to understand not only how to design meaningful work, but how to manage projects, teams, and resources at a professional level.

Through McCombs, I’ve completed coursework in finance, marketing, management, and entrepreneurship, learning how to analyze budgets, build sustainable plans, communicate value, and think strategically about creative enterprises. The minor has made me a more well-rounded artist and collaborator — someone who understands both the creative and operational sides of production. It’s strengthened my ability to lead with intention, adapt in complex environments, and contribute thoughtfully to the long-term success of any project or organization I’m part of.
